Amazon expands its investment in education initiatives for students in the United States. The company has announced that it will finance computer science courses at more than 1,000 high schools in the United States. The grammar schools are located in all 50 states and in the District of Columbia. The courses are funded by Amazon's Future Engineer program and reach thousands of students across the country. It is part of the larger $ 50 million Amazon investment in computer science and STEM training.

Universities in the United States offer introduction to computer science and computer science classes. The courses are offered by the curriculum provider Edhesive. Amazon finances the lessons, tutorials, teacher development, digital curriculum for students, and live online support for students and teachers.
Amazon will also provide AWS Educate membership to students enrolled in the courses, enabling free computer performance in the company's AWS cloud for their class projects and other content to learn more about cloud computing.
