Apple is launching a new subscription service for virtual fitness classes called Fitness Plus, which the company announced at its presentation today. It’s the first fitness service designed for the Apple Watch, according to the company.
The company has long since added fitness features like workout tracking to the Apple Watch, which can show you a variety of metrics related to activities like running, biking, swimming, or rowing. While you’re running, Apple Watch can notify you if your pace is too fast or too slow, for example, or it can show you details about your heart rate or the number of steps per minute. Now Apple can help you exercise, not just encourage you to close your exercise rings.
