Apple CEO Tim Cook’s compensation for 2019 was over $ 133 million

According to Apple, Apple’s CEO Tim Cook was the second highest paid CEO in the U.S. in 2019 BloombergThe list of the highest paid CEOs and executives in 2019. Cook received total compensation of $ 133,727,869 from Bloombergcounting.

Almost all of Cook’s compensation was granted in the form of share awards and related performance awards. As the SEC reported earlier this year, Cook received a base salary of $ 3 million with incentives of $ 7.7 million. The rest came from stock awards granted during the year.

Elon Musk, CEO of Tesla, was the highest-paid number one CEO in the U.S. during the year and received nearly $ 600 million. Tom Rutledge, CEO of Charger Communications, former incumbent CEO of CBS Joseph Ianniello, Sumit Singh, CEO of Chewy, and Jonathan Gray, COO of the Blackstone Group, all earned over $ 100 million.

As with other technology company executives, Alphabet’s CEO, Sundar Pichai, earned $ 86 million, Intel’s CEO, Robert Swan, $ 99 million, and Microsoft’s CEO, Satya Nadella, earned $ 77 million.

Cook is a regular contributor to charities and has said in the past that he plans to give away most of his wealth.
