Apple is offering a free three-month Apple Arcade trial with new device purchases

Anyone who buys a new iPhone, iPad, Mac, iPod touch, or Apple TV after October 22nd will get a free three-month trial of Apple Arcade, Apple announced. Apple’s game subscription service is typically $ 4.99 per month and gives you access to over 100 downloadable games with no ads or in-game purchases.

Apple has long used free trials to promote its subscription services. When Apple TV Plus launched last year, customers who purchased an eligible device were eligible for a full year of free service and recently extended those trials for up to three months. Three months is also the standard test phase for Apple Music. So far, however, Apple has only offered a one-month free trial of Apple Arcade with new signups.

However, the company̵

7;s one-year Apple TV Plus trial will continue this year, according to Apple 9to5Mac notes that if you claimed the Apple TV Plus trial again in the past year, you cannot claim it again. Both trial versions must be requested within three months of activating an eligible device. Only one Apple Arcade trial can be claimed per Family Sharing group. However, in each family group, you can share a trial with up to five people. In either case, the subscription will be automatically activated for $ 4.99 per month at the end of the trial period.

Later this year, Apple will offer a new package of subscription services called Apple One. This includes subscriptions to Apple Music, Apple TV Plus, Apple Arcade, Apple News Plus, and iCloud Storage in bundles priced between $ 14.95 and $ 29.95 per month.
