Apple announced one of its usual fall events, but this event is unusual for Apple. Instead of running with iPhones in September, they are expected to arrive in October.
This month, as indicated in the “Time Flies” announcement, we expect Apple Watches. There might even be two of them: the Apple Watch Series 6 and a new, cheaper version. Rumor has it that the headline feature is blood oxygen monitoring on the top tier models, while the budget models may be nicknamed the “SE”.
Apple is also expected to introduce a new version of the iPad Air that follows the design of the iPad Pro. That means thinner, smaller frames with rounded corners on the screen. This also means Apple will have to decide which biometrics to include ̵
There could be more: A recent rumor suggests that there may be a new regular iPad as well. AirTags are still floating around in the rumor mill, and Apple itself has published references to an “Apple One” package due to its growing selection of subscription services. We have summarized everything that we expect here.
The event starts at 1:00 p.m. ET / 10:00 a.m. PT and we’ll be live blogging them below. We hope you will see us!
