Apple Watch Series 6 versus Apple Watch SE versus Apple Watch Series 3: price and availability
When it comes to price, the Apple Watch Series 6 is the most expensive of the three models. The Apple Watch Series 6 starts at Rs 40,900 for the GPS model while the GPS + Cellular model starts at Rs 49,900.
The Apple Watch SE, on the other hand, costs Rs 29,900 for the entry-level GPS model and Rs 33,900 for the GPS + Cellular model. Apple has not yet announced the release date of the Watch Series 6 and Watch SE in India, but expects two new smartwatches to hit stores before Diwali.
Starting at Rs 20,900, the Watch Series 3 is the cheapest Apple Watch you can buy on the market. The Watch Series 3 can help Apple reach new customers. However, the smartwatch is now showing its age. You can easily buy Apple Watch Series 3 in the market.
Apple Watch Series 6 versus Apple Watch SE versus Apple Watch Series 3: display and design
The Apple Watch Series 6 and Apple Watch SE have identical designs, including case sizes of 40mm and 44mm and larger 368 × 448 Retina displays. Both watches have rounded designs and thinner bezels. And yes, both have the same water resistance of 50 meters. However, the Watch SE does not have a display that is always on. Well, having the display on all the time has its own perks, but the battery drains faster
When it comes to colors and surfaces, the Watch SE is only available in aluminum. The 6 series is also available in stainless steel and titanium. The colors are available in three colors: gold, silver and space gray. The aluminum series 6 is available in the colors blue, gold, red, silver and space gray. The stainless steel model is available in gold, new graphite and silver. The titanium model is available in natural titanium and space black.
Apple Watch Series 6 versus Apple Watch SE versus Apple Watch Series 3: performance and battery
For the Series 6, Apple uses the S6 SoC, which runs up to 20 percent faster than the S5. This means apps will launch 20 percent faster than before. The Apple Watch SE uses the S5 chip, the same chip as the Apple Watch Series 5. Simply put, the S5’s performance is 20 percent slower than the S6. However, the S5 is faster than the S3 in the Watch Series 3.
Oh yes, the Apple Watch Series 6 has the ultra-broadband U1 chip. This is the first Apple Watch to feature the U1 ultra-broadband chip.
Apple claims to have 18 hours of battery life on the Series 6, SE, and 3. Hopefully the battery life of the smartwatches will continue to improve with watchOS.
Apple Watch Series 6 versus Apple Watch SE versus Apple Watch Series 3: Features and Software
The Apple Watch Series 6 has all the features you can imagine from the latest Apple smartwatch. In addition to the ECG monitor, fall detection and noise monitoring, the Series 6 can now measure blood oxygen saturation (SpO2). Essentially, the SpO2 sensor measures the color of your blood, which indicates the amount of oxygen present.
As in the case of Watch SE, the smartwatch has a lot of features like the high-end Series 6, but it cuts off some corners to keep the price low. For example, the Watch SE offers fall detection, noise monitoring, international emergency calls and the second generation heart rate sensor. What is missing from the Apple Watch SE is the lack of the ECG sensor integrated into the Digital Crown.
Not to forget, both the Series 6 and the Watch SE have an always-on altimeter that allows you to track altitude in real time. The Series 3 also has a biometric altimeter for altitude measurement, but does not offer real-time altitude all day.
The cheapest series 3 watch lacks important functions such as fall detection, noise monitoring and haptic feedback.
In terms of software, all three smartwatches run WatchOS 7. This means that a new sleep app and tracking functions will also be available for the Series 3.
Apple Watch Series 6 vs. Apple Watch SE vs. Apple Watch Series 3: Which Model Should You Buy?
It depends on whether. If you want the best and newest Apple Watch, buy the Series 6. The top model has a new blood oxygen sensor, EKG and new watch faces. The new Apple Watch SE seems like a great choice. At 29,900 rupees, the Watch SE is not only cheaper, but also has the same larger display and the latest features such as fall detection and always-on altimeter. With the Series 3 now three years old, we think the Watch SE is a better buy.
