This is the hilarious moment when a bear was caught on security footage, ringing a doorbell with its paw.

The footage was taken around 10 p.m. in Truckee, California, and shows two bears roaming the front yard of a property.

When one bear comes out of the shot, another one comes straight to the front door, jumps up and puts its paws on the house.

The owners of the house

The owners of the house “laughed hysterically” when they realized it was bears ringing their doorbell and not a prank

While the animal is doing this, it accidentally rings the doorbell and its ears perk up in surprise at the sound.

It even lifts a paw to the camera and pokes its nose to the lens for a close-up before wandering off.

The footage was taken on September 7th.

The owner of the house said they thought it was a prank when they heard her doorbell ring at such a late hour.

They were still working and hearing the sound that “alarmed” them when they lived in a quiet area.

They said, “We decided to check the doorbell camera before going downstairs to open the door.

We both laughed hysterically when we saw the bears. When we finally opened the door, they were gone.

‘Unfortunately the video only recorded one ring. But it’s still pretty fun. ‘

The population of black bears in California is estimated to be 30,000 to 40,000.
