Attention Coders, designers and all other builders: The TechCrunch China Hackathon returns this month to Shenzhen, the city known as the Hardware Capital of the World, and we want you to join in!
So, if you are inside you have to program, design, build and hack cool things; if you want to have fun with others like you over a weekend; if you like to use your superpower to win money and prizes; and if you need an excuse to initiate the side project that you've been thinking about for weeks … come on over!
As a precursor to our TechCrunch China Shenzhen event this month, the hackathon took place November 1
As with the traditional TC Hackathon, participation in the Shenzhen Hackathon is completely free. You just have to register what you can do here.
The plan is simple: after 24 hours of construction, hackers present their projects to their colleagues and a jury that decides on the winners.
The top teams win the grand prize and there are other special prizes, including Most Innovative Product, Most Valuable Product and Most Completed Product Awards.
We also give you more this year. Each hacker who successfully submits his or her project will receive a two-day pass for the TechCrunch Shenzhen 2018 event valued at 1299 RMB or $ 188, as well as a certificate of honor and a souvenir T-shirt.
There are also a number of blockchain challenges from our sponsor Ontology and other partners. With the diverse applications and usability of blockchain in a variety of industries, the challenges of blockchain bring together diverse knowledge bases and backgrounds, from games to supply chain software, medical software and voting applications. Shenzhen Bay Inno Mall is from the 17th to the 18th century Open November. Get your tickets here – you can visit this link for more information.
