Another name to be added to the ever-expanding list of 5G cell phones opening this week in Barcelona. ZTE just announced the launch of the Axon 10 Pro 5G, due to hit the market in the first half of 2019 – at least in China and Europe. The states are of course a very different question. ZTE has not been quite as political as Huawei in recent years, but the company has undergone its own review by the US authorities.
Like Huawei, ZTEs had the distinct advantage of building their own 5G network devices, putting the Chinese smartphone maker in the test area in front of a big competition. He is currently working with mobile operators to deploy his phone for the upcoming arrival of the next generation of wireless technology.
In fact, the company today took advantage of MWC's impetus to showcase something of its own 5G technology, including a live presentation run alongside Qualcomm. As of this morning,
The demonstration on the 5G NR radio uses a real 5G end-to-end network built with ZTE's commercial core network and radio base station device, and a ZTE 5G smartphone, powered by the world's first commercial 5G mobile platform ̵1; the Qualcomm Snapdragon 855Mobile Platform, paired with the Snapdragon X50 5G modem, as well as Qualcomm Technologies RF transceiver and RF front-end solutions.
The upcoming device also features three rear-facing cameras, a U-shaped pinhole and a fingerprint reader that appears to be in the display. ZTE also launched the Blade V10 today. This mobile phone has a 32 megapixel front camera, as you can never have selfies with sufficiently high resolution.
