Among the mobile ad networks, Facebook and Google remain the best choice for advertisers, according to the latest ROI index from marketing startup Singular.
To sum up this year's index, Singular says that $ 1.5 was sampled, billions of ad spend (out of the $ 10 billion that the company optimizes annually) and measured which networks yield the best return. It also kept an eye out for ad fraud and apparently cleared a record of 15 companies from the ranking for "excessive" fraud.
Yes, Facebook, followed by Google leads the list. The report states, "Understanding marketers know that they need more than just two media partners, but Google and Facebook are included in virtually every mobile marketer for a reason: they deliver."
At the same time, Singular noted that Snap has improved its ranking on virtually all lists and is now the number three network for non-gaming ads for both iOS as well as for Android. And Twitter has also ranked second in terms of placement on iOS.
Comparing the two major mobile platforms, Android seems to be more volatile – a third of the networks on the Android ROI list appear for the first time. and 80 percent of the remaining 10 networks changed on the list. On iOS, however, 73 percent of the networks have changed their position, but there were only two new ones on the list.
