Almost every big app implements some kind of dark mode these days, but there is a remarkable gap: Facebook. We saw the company tested a dark mode for Android in August and a dark desktop user interface in October, but there is still no permanent option. Now the company finally appears to be ready to join the range of sneaky apps as it has started rolling out the dark mode on Facebook Lite, as discovered by Android Police .
Although I don't see it, the multi-user option appeared on my own device. It should appear as a toggle just below the "Settings" button of the hamburger menu.
Facebook Lite, for those who are not familiar, is a significantly scaled-down version of the Facebook app intended for users with limited data access. although popular just because it's less bloated than the regular version. It fits the most important functions of the social network into an app that requires less than 2 MB of data to download. For comparison: The standard Facebook app is around 39 MB. After installation, the apps on my device take up about 9 MB or 400 MB.
Android Police notes that the feature appeared to have started in January ̵
