Facebook redesign released: how to use it and what to expect

Today Facebook has completely launched “the new Facebook.com” and it is a bit tight. This new version of Facebook will have the same content as before, but look a little different than you remember. So on the web. Facebook’s app versions won’t change this week. The latest version of Facebook will appear for you in a web browser, most likely when you visit Facebook on your desktop or laptop device.

According to the official Facebook announcement on the subject, some updates have been made in the past 16 years of Facebook activity. The recent mass of it focused on the ecosystem of mobile apps of the social network. With this latest update, Facebook says that they “have realized that our desktop site has fallen behind”

; and that “people need it to keep up”.

This new version of Facebook has a dark mode right outside the door. When you activate the new Facebook.com, you will be asked whether you want to roll in light or dark mode. This new version of the website focuses more on “Facebook Watch” for videos of all kinds. It also focuses on groups, pages and events.

If you want to activate the new Facebook.com, all you have to do is go to Facebook.com and click the “GO” button. You will receive a notification that you have been invited to the new Facebook. By default, if you read this article in the distant future, you will only receive the latest version of Facebook.

It’s tight

Similar to the Facebook app, the new Facebook.com throws negative space out the window. You will see a little space to the right of your Facebook sections linked to the left and to the right of your contact list, otherwise you will be JAMMED there.

It’s like this version of Facebook was designed by a committee rather than a modern website designer. Keep your fingers crossed, they will leave a little more room to breathe in the near future, or chaos may well occur. Watch out for the hashtags this afternoon!
