After a few leaks and rumors in recent weeks, Samsung has launched its revised Galaxy A series of smartphones. While it has been suggested in several reports that the new Galaxy A series would include three models, Samsung has just released two official variants: the Galaxy A50 and the Galaxy A30.

Samsung Galaxy A50: features, specifications

The Samsung Galaxy A50 has a 6.4-inch super AMOLED Infinity U-Full HD + panel with an aspect ratio of 19.5: 9 The phone has a In-display fingerprint sensor, and Samsung claims the Galaxy A50 will "unlock intuitively without changing the grip."

Samsung Galaxy A30: Features, Specifications

Like the Galaxy A30, it uses the same Infinity U-Super AMOLED display as the Galaxy A50. However, the phone has two rear cameras instead of the triple A50 camera array. The dual-camera setup includes a 16-MP sensor with a 1: 1.7 lens and a 5-MP sensor with a 1: 2.2 lens. For selfies, it has a 16 MP sensor that comes with a f / 2.2 fixed focus lens. Unlike the Galaxy A50, the Galaxy A30 has a capsule-shaped fingerprint sensor embedded in the back panel. The smartphone was introduced in two RAM / memory versions: 3 GB RAM / 32 GB memory and 4 GB RAM / 64 GB internal memory.

Details of the internal hardware and software of the two smartphones have not yet been announced. However, the Galaxy A50 and A30 bundle Samsung's ecosystem services such as Samsung Pay, Samsung Health, Bixby Vision, Bixby Home, etc. Both smartphones feature a quick charge function. From the front, the new Galaxy A series seems to be identical to the budget-oriented Galaxy M series launched last month in India. The Galaxy A series, however, seems to be even more refined compared to the Galaxy M series.

Samsung has not provided any information regarding the global price and availability of the Galaxy A50 and Galaxy A30. However, there is a special microsite with a notification feature on the company's official website in India. Reports indicate that the updated Galaxy A series could hit the Indian coast this week on February 28th.
