Final Fantasy 16 is a PlayStation 5 exclusive console.
Square Enix’s next numbered RPG in its iconic series will also be released on the PC, which is the source of the footage on today’s PlayStation 5 livestream.
The debut trailer below showed a return to a fantasy setting for the series after the flying cars and suits of Final Fantasy 15.
It is being edited by Final Fantasy 14 chief producer Naoki Yoshida, who is the producer, and director Hiroshi Takai. To be clear, this is a single player RPG.
But the big news here is clearly that Sony is getting its paperback for money out of Final Fantasy 1
