Bookings for the new device will begin on September 24th and will be available on e-commerce platforms such as Amazon and Flipkart.

The Instax Square SQ1 comes with automatic exposure technology and also has a one-touch selfie mode. The auto exposure feature enables users to take clearer and more vivid photos that have been adequately exposed. The camera automatically detects the ambient light level when the shutter button is pressed and optimizes the shutter speed and flash output according to the current lighting conditions to achieve such results.

On the other hand, users can activate selfie mode by simply rotating the lens after turning on the camera. This will change the position of the lens, giving the necessary focus on selfie and close-ups.

Masaki Zenko, Director of Instax and Senior Manager of Photo Imaging Department at Fujifilm India, said, “We are excited to expand our wide range of Instax cameras with the funniest and newest Instax SQUARE SQ1. Our latest edition combines everything our users love about the cool, modern style and functionality of the Mini with the larger, more vibrant edition of our square film. “

“The compact and durable camera efficiently develops larger square prints in just 90 seconds, creating instant tangible memories for users,” said Kunal Girotra, National Business Manager of the Instax Division of Fujifilm India.

The new camera will be available in three colors: terracotta orange, glacier blue and chalk white. Fuji launched two new Instax instant films along with the Square SQ 1 device. The instax Square Rainbow movie and instax Square Monochrome movie are designed to allow users to play with creativity.
