According to some industry sources, the brand new Galaxy Z Fold 2 smartphone will be priced at INR 1.49,999 (i.e. $ 2041). Pre-orders for the device have not yet started for the Indian market. Well, according to the report, it will start in the country from September 14th. The purchased unit will be shipped from September 26th.
In addition to the Indian pricing, the industry expert has also announced the price range for accompanying accessories. The Aramid Standing Cover comes with a price tag of INR 4,799 (i.e. $ 65) while the leather cover will return you INR 5,999 (i.e. $ 82). Given the prices in the other markets, the Indian consumer might end up saving better than the others.
Samsung also has a special offer for repair service. If you’ve accidentally damaged your device within a year, the listing is for INR 10,999 (US $ 149) to have it repaired. It’s worth noting that the damage can be either physical or liquid. That being said, Samsung doesn’t appear to be offering any pre-book launch deals if the report is to be believed. Earlier this month, the smartphone maker launched its foldable device on the Chinese market.
