Gateway PCs are back | Engadget

“The Gateway PC brand and its well-known cow stain boxes have been hugely popular in the US since 1985. Acer is excited to see Walmart become the exclusive provider of Gateway branded notebooks and tablets. We are pleased to have customers in the States and Puerto Rico will have the opportunity to enjoy the popular Gateway brand again through one of the world’s leading retailers. “

In total, Gateway has released 11 new devices. The six ultra slim laptops consist of an 1

1.6-inch device that will get you $ 200 back, four 14.1-inch PCs priced between $ 240 and $ 600, and one 15.6-inch -Option that costs $ 500. The brand’s 2-in-1 hybrid costs $ 300 and comes with a one-year subscription to Microsoft 365 Personal.

Gateway has also launched two new laptops for games and creative projects as part of the Creators range. As you’d expect, both 15.6-inch Creators laptops are a bit more expensive than the Ultra Slims. The AMD variant costs $ 800 and the Intel variant costs $ 1,200. Finally, Acer’s brand also released an inexpensive 8-inch ($ 70) and 10-inch ($ 80) Android 10 tablet. Gateway plans to bring even more laptops to market this fall and to add more products to its offering in the coming months.
