Get two free $ 35 games from Epic this week

If you’re a gamer – or just check out the Cheapskate sites occasionally – you probably know that Epic Games is giving away at least one free game every Thursday. This week, Epic put two games on the queue: a first-person horror title called Amnesia: A Machine for Pigs, and an adorable 16-bit retro strategy game called Kingdom: New Lands. If you get hold of both of them, that’s $ 45 on free spins.

Kind of a sequel to the beloved Amnesia: The Dark Descent. This horror game from 2013 is set in a different timeline with different characters. This is a survival horror game that will transport you to a world of terror around the turn of the century.

Kingdom: New Lands is a minimalist strategy game with a 16-bit retro aesthetic and an ambient soundtrack. You take control of a monarch who is struggling to build your kingdom by exploring the world, recruiting loyal subjects, and defending what you claim of nighttime attacks.
