Have you ever tried using the Right-click on a message in your Gmail Inbox Even though you've already done so, you may not be using the resulting menu as it currently has only three options: Archive, Mark as Unread, and Delete.

The however, it's changing dramatically, with Google announcing on Monday that it has added more features to the Gmail context menu.

Gmail's new right-click menu has a total of 12 options: Reply, Reply All, Forward, Archive, Delete, A Uncheck unread, set snooze, move, label as, mute, search emails from the same sender and open in new window. If conversation view is off, you can also search for all emails with the same subject.

For someone whose workflow includes many right-clicks, this can be very useful as Google stuffed pretty much everything you need into this menu. For example, you may want to move multiple emails to a specific category, or open two emails in a new window for a direct comparison. Now click with the right mouse button.

Of course, you already have all of these options in the top menu of Gmail (though some are behind the extra, three-dot menu), and you can also access them using keyboard shortcuts. However, if you right-click, the new menu is probably preferable.

The new feature is enabled by default and will be deployed to G Suite users on Monday. The introduction is gradual. So do not worry if you do not see them yet. It is unclear when the feature will be available to all Gmail users. We asked Google and will update this article when we hear from them.
