The next game in the God of War The series made its PS5 debut and its God of War: Ragnarok.

While this was our first confirmation of the actual game, its arrival came as no surprise: Without delving into spoilers, the ending of the final game clearly set things up for a sequel. Since then, God of War fans have been demanding official confirmation of a follow-up and get by with it an official PS4 dynamic theme, the “Ragnarok is Coming” and the occasional cryptic joke by Creative Director Cory Barlog.
Speaking of cryptic teasing from Cory Barlog, he anticipated this revelation by making some important changes to his Twitter account. This included replacing his profile picture with a picture made of deep gray ice and his banner picture with an archive picture of a bundle of edited Latin text.
The first god of war – that is New first God of War – released in 2018 as a subtle sequel to Kratos’ original adventures through mythological Greece and as a fresh start for the franchise. The fusion of challenging action, travel through a beautiful world and a touching father-son story quickly propelled her to the top of our list of best PS4 games (a position it held up The last of us 2 came on stage this summer).
Of course, we also got the PS5 price and release date today. So now you know when to buy the machine. Kratos will return at some point. Even if PS5 pre-orders are not online yet.
