(Pocket-Lint) – The Google Pixel 5 is one of the most leaked cellphones in recent history. Pictures and details are published regularly. However, they don’t really expect Google to cause its own leaks.
That is exactly what happened in Japan. The official Japanese Google Twitter account posted a video showing the design and price of the upcoming phone.
The tweet has since been removed, but not before screengrabs of salient parts were included.
They show the design of the phone from the front, which exactly matches the leaked renders released last week.
There’s confirmation that the Pixel 5 will be a 5G device (a breeze to be honest). And we can see the phone will cost 74,800 yen (around £ 549 or $ 709), which is the same as another previous leak that it claims will cost € 629 in Germany.
We’ll be sure to find out everything on Wednesday, September 30th, when Google hosts its online Launch Night In event. The phone will hit the market alongside the Pixel 4a 5G, Chromecast with Google TV, and a Nest audio speaker – all with their own major leaks lately.
You can follow the event here on Pocket-lint.
