When a medium-sized Pixel 3 phone with a "lite" tag and the codename "Sargo" appeared a few weeks ago, we wondered if a second mid-ranger would turn up soon. An earlier "bonito code name" was already shared, but was surprisingly absent on all other Google leaks. This second device may have surfaced in high-resolution rendering over the weekend.
This new device, currently referred to as Pixel 3 Lite XL arrives at @onleaks as a 3D CAD rendering, probably by a fall-maker. Although they are not official images of Google's device, these types of renderings are almost always correct.
The pictures actually show both the smaller Pixel 3 Lite and the Pixel 3 XL Lite from all angles. You can see the comparison in the size above, an additional shot below and a video tour.
What we are told by these pictures is that every body will be a two-tone plastic, not glass. No phone has nicks, but they are similar in size to Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL. The Pixel 3 Lite has a 5.5-inch display with a body of 151.3 x 70.1 mm, while the Pixel 3 Lite XL jumps to about 6 inches and a frame of 160 x 76.1 mm. Both phones are equipped with 1080p displays.
Technical data is a mystery, but the aforementioned leak I referred to showed a Snapdragon 670 processor, 4GB of RAM, 32GB of storage, 2915mAh battery, 12MP rear camera, 8MP front camera and one Headphone jack for the smaller Pixel 3 Lite. The XL model may not be very different outside a rechargeable battery.
