1; you probably know that Epic Games is giving away at least one free game every Thursday. This week, Epic is giving away a pair of games valued at $ 50. First the charming railway empire, followed by the narrative adventure Where the water tastes like wine. You probably already know the drill: once you’ve downloaded these games to your Epic account (which you can get for free), you can keep them forever. You don’t even have to install the games now – just request them. They have until Thursday, September 17th, before they go back on sale at the regular price.

Railway Empire is a tycoon simulator that allows you to create an elaborate and expansive rail network, buy over 40 different highly detailed trains, and buy or build stations, factories and attractions to become the dominant mode of transport on your way to the 20th century (none Worry, I doubt planes will ever be a thing).

In addition to the base game, there are more than half a dozen geographic expansion packs for $ 8 each.

Where the Water Tastes Like Wine is a narrative adventure about travel, story sharing, and surviving apparent fate. As you play the game, wander the US of the Depression at your own pace, meeting strangers and listening to the stories they have to tell.

The game combines a 3D world with hand-drawn 2D illustrations, original stories and voice acting from characters like Sting, Dave Fennoy (The Walking Dead: A Telltale Series), Cissy Jones (Fire Station), Kimberly Brooks (Mass Effect), Sarah Elmaleh (Gone Home), Elizabeth Maxwell (The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild) and more.
