OnePlus is still a few weeks away from the OnePlus 8T’s debut. The upcoming smartphone recently appeared in a leaked rendering that emerged from an official preview build for Android 11 developers, the key specs of which had also been leaked. Now a reliable tipster @OnLeaks – in cooperation with @ PriceBaba – has released high-resolution renderings and a 360-degree video of the OnePlus 8T, which gives us an insight into its design from all angles. We also get another look at the device’s internal hardware. Starting with the design, OnePlus 8T will introduce some major design changes – a flat display and A much larger camera module with four lenses instead of three cameras on its predecessor.
In detail, the OnePlus 8T should have a 6.55-inch FHD + displayIn contrast to the curved panel of the OnePlus 8, this one has a flat display. However, the refresh rate has increased from 90Hz to 120Hz. The hole punch still sits in the top right corner and houses a single selfie camera. The leak claims that the OnePlus 8T will work Snapdragon 865 and not Qualcomm’s newest Snapdragon 865+which is pretty strange. The device is sold in two options – An 8 GB RAM model with 128 GB onboard storage, a 12 GB variant with 256 GB storage.
The camera hardware has also been updated, but the size of the case has also increased significantly and is now in the upper left corner of the back. It houses one 48MP primary camera, a 16MP wide-angle shooter, a 5MP macro lens, and a 2MP portrait camera. The OnePlus 8T is equipped with a 16-megapixel camera for selfies and video calls. There is a 4,800mA battery in this supports the faster 65W warp charging technologyHowever, there is no word on whether it offers wireless charging compatibility. On the software side, it ships with OxygenOS 11, likely based on Android 11.
