Mario Kart Live: Home Circuit is arriving in living rooms around the world today – and it’s already bothering your cat residents.

The remote controlled collaboration between Nintendo and Velan Studios combines real remote controlled toys with augmented reality courses and hazards. But none of the game’s flashy marketing games showed the real household threat: cats.

This morning we received footage of Mario Kart Live in the wild from Japan – until one owner’s cat decided otherwise:

And then there’s this Unranked podcast that got early access to the game this week. To be clear, we do not permit you to use your Mario Kart Live toy to chase your cat around your home.
