I tried the celebrity-approved Dyson straightener that can be used cordless

Our thoughts on the latest Dyson straightener

While hair tools can completely transform the mane, it often comes at the cost of tangled charging cables, a bulky bag when traveling, and overuse, dry and brittle strands in the long run. Always on the cutting edge of technology, Dyson has addressed many of these concerns with the introduction of its Dyson Corrale hair straightener. We at NDTV Swirlster experienced the new premium hairdresser for a couple of weeks and today we think about the straightener that Bollywood celebrities can’t stop raving about.

Packaging of the Dyson Corrale

The straightener is available in the classic Dyson colors of nickel and fuchsia, but there is also a purple option. It comes in a luxury travel case that can be tied with a strap. This also serves as a heat resistant pad for the heated product. a helpful note. The complete kit includes a charging station that allows the straightener to stand upright while charging, and a charging cable that slides in from below. With its transparent stand and light pink base, the dock looks extremely attractive, but it can be omitted if you connect the straightener directly to the cable without placing it in the stand. This can reduce the weight of the dock, especially when traveling.

The straightener has a very useful locking setting that keeps both arms in place. The temperature settings and battery messages are displayed very clearly on the OLED screen. The chimes are a thoughtful feature that lets you know when they have warmed up, the battery is almost empty and is charging. Even if you are not in the area, you will be notified of the features if you are in the same room. The airplane plug is a nice touch for frequent travelers to simply pull out the battery, deactivate it and put it in your hand luggage. The outer body doesn’t feel hot to the touch when you straighten up, so you don’t have to worry about burning your fingers.

Use and feel of the Dyson Corrale

The bending plates are the highlight of this Dyson launch. Of all the straighteners I’ve used over the years, the Corrale worked noticeably faster than them. A slow stroke or two along the section of hair is enough to get smooth, straight hair. This makes it quicker to move through sections and further spend on hair styling. My medium-length hair was completely straightened within minutes and, to my delight, the effect was still very visible a day later.

Its ability to be used cordlessly makes it an absolute dream. About 30 minutes of this can be obtained on a single charge. However, the weight of the battery can be felt, especially if you hold and style it for longer. It’s amazing how much the Corrale enhances the styling experience, but it literally just cuts the cord. Without the hassle of cables and wires, it is possible to style hair in waves or curls without getting tangled in the charging cable. something that cannot be easily done with a corded styler. After styling, my hair felt smooth and silky and never dry or brittle even after several tries. The price is around Rs 36,900 and it’s a high price to pay for a hairdresser, but given the long-term heat damage you’ll avoid, the ease of use from the thoughtful design, and the visibly sleek results, it’s an investment if you’re a hairstyle lover.
