Hong Kong-based Transsion Holdings, which sells smartphones under the brand name Infinix on Wednesday, launched its Note 7 smartphone in India for 11,499 rupees in three colors: ether black, forest green and bolivia blue. The smartphone would be available on the Flipkart e-commerce website.

The Infinix Note 7 comes with features such as a 48-megapixel AI quad rear-view camera, an almost frameless 6.95-inch pin-hole display with HD + resolution, a 16-megapixel selfie camera in the display and a 5,000 mAh battery equipped with an 18 W quick charger. The device is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Helio G70 processor with 4 GB RAM / 64 GB DDR4 RAM and runs on Android 10-based XOS 6.1 Dolphin OS.

The phone features a gem-carved texture design with a curved 3D glass finish and a side-mounted fingerprint sensor for a smartphone experience that, according to the handset’s manufacturer, combines performance and premium design with affordability.

The Note 7 is powered by a high-capacity 5,000 mAh battery that the OEM claims will keep the phone operational even after long hours of intensive use. The battery can withstand 20 hours of video playback, up to 24 hours of music playback, 16 hours of Internet surfing, 35 hours of 4G talk time and 50 days of standby time. The smartphone is equipped with an 18 W super charger with which it can be charged to 100 percent in just 2 hours.
