If you’ve thought of adding a new Apple Watch (or other LTE-enabled smartwatch with a dedicated phone number) to your Verizon account, you’ll likely love to hear that the operator cut the monthly cost for it in half. Usually $ 20, now it’s $ 10 per month for all plan types.
This is welcome news considering that Apple today unveiled two new Apple Watch models: the Apple Watch Series 6 and the Apple Watch SE, both of which have an LTE option. The cheapest Series 6 with LTE is $ 499 ($ 399 without LTE), but the real bargain is the Apple Watch SE with LTE, which is $ 329 (just $ 50 more than without LTE ). Both models are available for pre-order now and will be available this Friday.
The caveat here is that any of those Apple Watches that are connected through the iPhone through Family Setup must be an LTE model, not the cheaper GPS model. (It already supports Apple Watch Series 4.) However, if you’re someone who wants to recharge Apple Watches for your family, Verizon is a little cheaper to pay for it every month.
