“Mom was huddled in the corner of her phone. Then she ran upstairs to my father and we heard,” No, no, no. “

“My brothers and I stormed into the office and saw them crying in Dad’s chest – at that moment I thought that anything that goes wrong in my life no longer matters.

During her interview, Jacquie also recalled the family preparing for any scenario that came their way.

She added, “I’ve cried a lot, and I’m sure the kids cried a lot. I explained that there were a lot of Mommy’s cancer drugs in the closet, but the fact is it could kill me and they need to be prepared.”

After the shock of learning that the cancer had returned, Jacquie admitted that the diagnosis caused her to turn her attention to other things in her life.

She added, “I felt like I was losing my mind or having a nervous breakdown.

“I was so absorbed in myself that I couldn’t decide whether I was a good or a bad mother.

The mother of three then began a strenuous chemotherapy regimen, but to her great surprise the lump had shrunk to 50 percent of its size and the moderator stopped therapy after her 12th session.

Instead, the former sports star has now turned her attention to sticking to her keto diet in hopes of keeping cancer at bay.

Maintaining her blood sugar levels means Jacquie will now prick her finger twice a day to test her blood and that she will have to be on a strict diet.

The TV star had the support of her family, but the journey has not always been easy

Despite the ups and downs of her brave cancer battle, Jacquie faces the challenge head on with the support of her family.

During the interview, Jacquie and her daughter concluded that openness with difficulty is the most important trait for overcoming hurdles.

Amelia added, “We both realized that the most important thing is to be open about the difficult days and the wobbles with each other.”
