Jurassic World Aftermath announced, first trailer released

As part of today’s Facebook Connect, a slew of different Oculus announcements were made, including the official reveal of the Oculus Quest 2. But it wouldn’t have been a big deal if the company had just announced the new hardware. In addition to the Oculus Quest 2, several VR games and experiences were announced, including Consequences of the Jurassic World, a new adventure that assigns players to navigate and escape from the franchise̵

7;s notoriously deadly Isla Nublar.

If the name “Consequences of the Jurassic World“Looks familiar, it should. The trademark made the rounds earlier this year, although at the time it was definitely nothing more than a video game. The previous Jurassic World video game, Jurassic World Evolutiongot pretty well received so people were excited for more to try. It’s hard to tell if Consequences of the Jurassic World Being a VR experience will help or hinder that at this point.

This is how Oculus describes the post about the new games coming to the Oculus Quest Consequences of the Jurassic World::

“Two years after the fall of Jurassic World, the tension set Consequences of the Jurassic World sends you back to Isla Nublar in search of confidential research that was lost in the evacuation. The problem? You crash-landed in the shabby ruins of an abandoned research facility – and deadly velociraptors track your every move. You will have to rely on your wits (and a bit of luck) to escape the island alive in this thrilling and thrilling adventure from Universal Games, Digital Platforms and Coatsink Games. “

Consequences of the Jurassic World does not currently have a specific release date and is instead recorded as “Coming Soon” for the Oculus Quest. Here you can see all of our previous coverage of Oculus.
