Lamborghini has made some hugely iconic cars over the years with Italian classics like the Countach. The modern Aventador has become one of its most popular models despite the high price. Lamborghini has been celebrating the production of chassis number 10,000 since the model went into production.
The 10,000th Aventador was a SVJ Roadster in gray with red paint and a unique Ad Personam interior in red and black. The car will be sent to the Thai market. Lamborghini has been producing the Aventador since 2011 when the coupe version LP 700-4 was launched. The original car used a 700 hp V12 engine.
On the way to a top speed of 350 km / h, it reached 100 km / h in 2.9 seconds. Another component that makes the car so fast is the fast-shifting ISR robot gear. Lamborghini also uses a push rod suspension system that offers precise handling similar to that of racing cars. The doors of the Aventador open upwards, similar to the legendary Countach and other V1
In 2012, Lamborghini introduced the roadster version with a roof made of two parts made of carbon fiber. The Aventador J made its debut in 2012 as an open-top super sports car with a fused exterior and interior. In 2016, the Aventador Miura celebrated its homage debut on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the Miura.
In 2016 Lamborghini also presented the Aventador S, which has a 6.5-liter 12-cylinder engine with 740 hp and all-wheel drive and all-wheel steering. The Aventador SVJ was introduced in 2018 and limited to just 900 units on the road and on the route. Lamborghini will certainly introduce more specialized versions of its performance cars in the future. While 10,000 units isn’t a lot compared to other major automakers, it’s a large number for a very expensive two-seat sports car.
