LG has not yet published a new flagshIp for 2020. Given the MWC 2020 termination, it may take a while for this to happen. However, this will not prevent the company from filling the smartphone market with non-premium mobile phones. In typical LG fashion, more phones are announced than you can remember. All of this promises the benefits of this popular quad camera setup without burning a hole in your wallet.
It is almost too easy to market these phones based only on the number of cameras. However, consumers should be aware that not all cameras are the same, even if they have a high megapixel count. At the top of the list is the LG K61 with its camera with the highest resolution and 48 megapixels. There is also a Super Wide 8MP sensor, a 2MP macro camera and a 5MP depth sensor.
All three are almost identical in size and design and have 6.5-inch screens, the same linear camera setup and a fingerprint sensor on the back. However, only the LG K61 has an FHD + screen and 4 GB RAM. The other two only get along with HD + and 3 GB of storage. Not surprisingly, it doesn't offer 5G support.
These three phones continue LG's tradition of taking premium features to lower levels. In other words, an attempt is being made to lure consumers with the promise of high-end features in budget phones. This has not worked miracles so far and is unlikely to change this year.
