Life is Strange Devs psychological thriller Twin Mirror comes out in December • Eurogamer.net

Launch on PS4, Xbox One, and PC.

Dontnod, the developer behind the acclaimed greats of Life is Strange and Tell Me Why, will bring his newest storytelling adventure, Twin Mirror, to Xbox One, PS4 and PC on December 1st.

Twin Mirror tells the story of former investigative journalist Sam Higgs, who returns to the small town of Basswood, West Virginia after the death of a friend.

What follows is a psychological thriller that looks very much along the lines of Dontnod̵

7;s numerous other quaint, freaky endeavors, with the exploration parts now married to a system where Sam – and his “more emphatic and social” change – ego double – are in able to use his eye-catching “Mind Palace” to rethink the past and look for clues.

Eurogamer’s Tom Phillip took a closer look at Twin Mirror earlier this year. His time suggested that Dontnod’s well-known formula should be viewed as a “more adult, more brutal version”.

Unlike previous Dontnod storytelling adventures, Twin Mirror won’t go the episodic route, which means players will get the full story at once when it comes to Xbox One, PS4, and the Epic Store (which has a one-year exclusivity deal on PC) on December 1st.
