Rumors of the second season of The Mandalorian are on the rise, and while we’ve heard of several cameos, the latest is the case: Boba Fett will perform, played by Jango Fett actor Temuera Morrison.
Morrison will play the famous bounty hunter, according to The Hollywood Reporter, although he is reported to play a minor role in Mandalorian’s second season.
Morrison played Jango Fett in the second Star Wars prequel, Attack of the Clones, in which the bounty hunter was the foundation of the Republic’s clone army before he died at the end of the film. Significantly, Jango’s clone “son”
But the big question might be how Boba Fett appears in the The Disney Plus show takes place five years after the Jedi’s return – and, if you remember, Boba’s apparent death came when he crashed into the Sarlacc. So there are some ways that he could appear on the new show.
Theories and evidence
Since Disney reconnected the entire expanded universe to pave the way for the continuation of the trilogy, the fate of Boba Fett has remained a mystery. He has not appeared nor has his survival been confirmed.
In other words, fat could be dead and return in retrospect, possibly from run-ins with the title Mandalorian, or to shed light on the culture of the fighting people. Or he could be alive and cross with our protagonist. There are even fan theories that fat has already appeared in the first season – either as one of the Mandalorians in the background of the undercover clan of the underground warrior clan or as a mysterious character on Tatooine in the closing moments of the episode “The Gunslinger” of the first season.
There is another option as well: Morrison has voiced clone troops in the third prequel, Revenge of the Sith, and both Fett in various Star Wars video games over the years. He could play a clone of fat or a pretender who took the name.
Anyway, we’ll find out when the second season of The Mandalorian will be released later in 2020.
