Tuesday marks the beginning of the first season for Modern Warfare. The first season contains the new Cargo and Atrium maps for Gunfight mode and the Harbor War map for Ground War. Vacant, Shipment and Cras are revised Call of Duty 4 cards available for standard multiplayer matches.
The new season will also have new modes. Reinforce lets players control three flags on the battlefield, but they only have one life, so tactical action is crucial to victory. Infected is a variant of the popular zombie mode in which players must compete against other infected enemies. On-Site Procurement, O.S.P., is for Gunfighter players, where teams of two start with their fists and buy their equipment throughout the game.
Bomb Squad, Grounded, Pitch Black, Strongbox and Just Rewards are additional spec ops campaigns targeting Roman Barkov's forces and operations.
Another big announcement for Modern Warfare players is the release of the Battle Pass season. As in other games like Fortnite and Apex Legends, players pay for a Battle Pass to unlock additional game cosmetics such as outfits, gun skins, and more. The Modern Warfare Battle Pass costs 1,000 cash-on-delivery points, or about $ 10.
Season's Battle Pass will have 100 levels of content, but 20 of these levels will be available to all players for free. Players reach the next level by playing games and earning points. Some of the locked content includes weapons, character skins, and other accessories that allow players to customize their characters and weapons. Players can also earn more COD points through the Battle Pass, which can be used for the next season.
What is the release date for Modern Warfare?
Modern Warfare is available for PS4, Xbox One, and PC with a Battle.net account.
On October 24, the servers of Modern Warfare were up and running, but players found it hard to play the game early. The sheer number of people trying to log into the game across the various platforms made it almost impossible for anyone to play. Activision and Infinity Ward have resolved various issues, from Xbox One crashes to players who simply can not connect to the game .
After a few hours of fixation and multiple threads on the Subreddit Modern Warfare that mocks the rocky launch, Modern Warfare is finished running across all platforms.
Infinity Ward released the PC requirements for the beta of Modern Warfare in mid-September. An important requirement is a graphics card that is compatible with DirectX 12. The rest is required to run the game:

Call of Duty fans in Russia, however, will have trouble getting the game. A Tweet from the October 22 Call of Duty Russia account says the game will not be digitally available on PlayStation 4.
"She has decided not to sell the game on the Russian PS Store," reads the translated Tweet. "We look forward to the release of the game for PC and Xbox on October 25th."
