After a global launch last month, Motorola quickly announced a debut date for its latest Motorola Edge Plus flagship in India. The decryption takes place on May 19. The teaser arrived on the Flipkart mobile app with a special landing page for the device.
The start takes place at 12 p.m. and we assume that this is an online event, although Motorola has not yet given any details. We also don’t know whether Motorola will offer both the Edge models in India and just the Edge Plus. The e-commerce portal also hosts a quiz competition where the winner receives a new Motorola phone.
The Motorola Edge price in Europe is EUR 699 (approx. Rs 58,000), while the Edge Plus costs USD 999 (approx. Rs. 76,400) in the USA. The Motorola Edge Plus is available in the color options Smoky Sangria and Thunder Gray. We expect the same options to be available in India as well. Considering that the Indian market usually gets a good bargain price compared to European markets, you could see that the Moto Edge comes close to the OnePlus 8 Pro.
The Edge Plus is the first real Motorola flagship in years. It is packed to the brim with powerful specifications and hardware. Key features include a curved hole punch design display, a 108MP main shooter, two stereo speakers and the Snapdragon 865 5G chip. It also has a massive 5,000 mAh battery with 18W quick charge and 15W wireless charging.
It wouldn’t be a bad thing to see the Motorola Edge in India considering it’s cheaper. The Moto Edge also has the same curved display as its bigger sibling, but gets the Snapdragon 765G and a 64-megapixel main camera. The battery size also shrinks to 4,500 mAh and there is no wireless charging.
As the lock wears off, things in the flagship finally seem to heat up, as many devices like the Oppo Find X2 are turned on their way.
