Motorola “Kiev” is a new budget 5G smartphone: chipset, display & camera specs leak

Motorola has just released its second foldable smartphone in the form of “Motorola razr 5G”. The price is $ 1,399 in the US and 12,499 yuan (US $ 1,828) in China. This handset is out of reach for most consumers. But the company is also working behind the scenes on a new budget 5G smartphone, according to a new leak.

The information on this mysterious Motorola Budget 5G smartphone comes from Technology News. The publication revealed not only the code name and model numbers of this device, but also the chipset, display and specifications of the camera.

According to the website, the upcoming affordable Motorola smartphone with support for 5G connectivity is codenamed “Kiev”. It is powered Qualcomm Snapdragon 690 paired with 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of internal storage. In addition, a microSD card slot is included to further expand the memory if necessary.

On the front the phone will be one OLED Panel with FHD resolution, HDR and 60Hz refresh rate. The size of the display is unknown, but it should have a notch or hole for the selfie camera.

Speaking of cameras: this handset comes with 48 MP Samsung GM1 primary sensor, an 8MP Samsung S5K4H7 sensor with telephoto lens and a 2MP OmniVision OV02B10 depth sensor on the back. The front camera is a 16MP OmniVision OV16A1Q sensor.

Unfortunately it will work Android 10 although Android 11 is out. Last but not least, this phone will be equipped with NFC and will be available in two versions with model numbers – XT2113-2 and XT2113-3 respectively.

However, the design, marketing name and launch date of this upcoming Motorola Budget 5G smartphone are currently unknown.
