A tweet that briefly surfaced on Netflix Portugal before being aggregatedly deleted revealed a new, previously unannounced Resident Evil series.
The CG project called Resident Evil: Infinite Darkness plays the two Resident Evil 2 protagonists Claire Redfield and Leon S. Kennedy. The release is planned for 2021.

As you might expect from an early announcement, little else is known about the project, but it seems different from another Netflix company with Resident Evil flavor that focuses on kids with a very familiar last name.

ICYMI, Resident Evil Village – that’s Resident Evil 8 – seems to be appearing on current generation consoles too, although the new horror episode will be released as a PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X / S game.
During a presentation on the Tokyo Games Show this weekend, producer Tsuyoshi Kanda said Capcom would “do our best” to make PlayStation 4 and Xbox One versions as well.
