Most of the 7T Pro's upgrade was under the hood, which is just the mobile chipset that now includes the overclocked Qualcomm Snapdragon 855+. The rest of the hardware is literally the same. It comes with a new fast charging technology called Warp Charge 30T, which is reportedly 23 percent faster than the previous standard. However, the update is done in the Power Brick and not in the device.

It uses the same triple-camera setup that was included in the OnePlus 7 Pro (Review) . There is the same curved AMOLED display with a refresh rate of 90 Hz. The remaining updates are included in the software OxygenOS 10 (based on Android 10).

We tested the OnePlus 7T Pro against some of the smartphones on the market, which also uses the three or more camera lenses in the flagship segment. It includes the Apple iPhone 11 Pro, Huawei P30 Pro (review) and Samsung Galaxy Note10 + (review) . To better distinguish between the latest OnePlus devices, we have also compared them to the 7T and 7 Pro.

Conclusion

As mentioned earlier, there is not much difference between the 7T Pro and the 7 Pro. With this budget, you can opt for either device, as the overclocked Snapdragon 855+ gives the 855 no significant boost. In the end you also save some money for other accessories like a wireless headset.

The other devices in this comparison are significantly more expensive, which is why OnePlus was again successful in the pricing department. We still have a final verdict on the 7T Pro, because it is still being tested. Just like the 7 Pro we expect the 7T Pro a similar level of performance and experience.
