We never talked about Reggie Fils-Aime being a rare black man who led a big gaming company. This was briefly explained in an interview last year when Walker asked the companies how they handled crunch. https://t.co/bdSLhfio5N pic.twitter.com/7DbCWFqfdk

Fils-Aime is being replaced by the company's executive vice president of sales and marketing, Doug Bowser, and the irony has not been lost to anyone. For those who lived under a rock, Bowser is Mario's longtime rival, and it seems appropriate for Fils-Aime to "hand over the controller to an iconic name in the Nintendo universe."
Fans first The coincidence when Bowser came to Nintendo from Electronic Arts in 2015 captured him and his upcoming promotion has revived the trend.

When Fils-Aime retires and takes over Bowser, Nintendo will take advantage of its new success with the Nintendo Switch, which Fils-Aime had taken advantage of Fighting the Company with the Nintendo Wii U.
In the latest Nintendo Direct, the company talked about upcoming games for the hybrid console, including the highly anticipated Fire Emblem: Three Houses . and revealed new titles such as Super Mario Maker 2, Tetris 99, Astral Chain and a remake of the classic Game Boy adventure The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening ]
