OnePlus smartphones may soon get the constantly available display function. OnePlus founder and CEO, Pete Lau, teased the long-awaited feature on his twitter.

However, Laus’s tweet does not reveal whether 11 contain references to OxygenOS 11 or Android 11.
March, OnePlus said that always on display was the main requirement within their community co-creation platform called IDEAS. The company has confirmed that the OS product team is working on introducing the feature through upcoming software updates on their phones.
The feature was previously only available in the initial units of the OnePlus 6 (review), but was gradually removed as it affected battery life. Since then, the company has shied away from providing AOD support for its phones.
The smartphones manufactured by OnePlus currently support an environment display mode in which basic context information is displayed as soon as the phone is lifted or tapped on the screen. The screen goes out when the device is not in use.
With the display always on, users can see all the information they get on their phone without touching it.
A reported by Android Authority According to the major smartphone manufacturers, display technology has been available for years, even on newer devices such as the Galaxy S20 series.
Meanwhile after Start of OnePlus Nord The company is reportedly working on another “affordable” smartphone this month that is expected to be available called OnePlus Nord Lite.
The phone is expected to be available in India soon and is expected to feature a new Snapdragon 690 5G chipset. The possibility of the new smartphone was indicated in a code snippet in the latest version of OxygenOS 10.5.
