Apple’s Phil Schiller will become an “Apple Fellow,” Apple announced today, while Greg Joswiak will take over as Senior Vice President Worldwide Marketing at Apple.
Schiller will continue to manage the App Store and Apple Events, but will no longer be responsible for marketing.

In this new role, he will continue to provide the incredible thought partnership and guidance that has defined his decades at Apple.”; said Tim Cook, Apple’s CEO. “Joz’s longstanding leadership in the product marketing organization makes him perfect for this new role and will ensure a seamless transition at a time when the team is doing such an important and exciting job.
