We thought Popeyes had played enough with our feelings for a year, but we were wrong.
The fried chicken chain, which had temporarily stopped its popular sandwich last month after the ingredients ran out, suggested on Thursday in a tweet that customers simply buy a three-piece chicken tender, bring their own cucumbers and rolls and put together the sandwich yourself.
The tweet, which is both a joke and a laugh, reads: "Try our new BYOB! It's basically the sandwich, just no mayo, or cucumbers, and you bring your own bun … Really, there are only three tenders … "In the video contained in the tweet, people put sandwiches together with hamburger buns and disturbingly a hot dog bun.

̵1; Popeyes Chicken (@PopeyesChicken) The Bile! The lack of hot sauce! For those of us who have not even tried the real sandwich, the tweet is downright cruel.
Popeye & # 39; s is now BYOB (bring your own bun), if you want her chicken sandwich!
"We Wanted to Offer Guests A fun way to satisfy the cravings of their Popeyes. "
Sir, unless you are at Supermarket Sweep, buying buns is not my idea of fun …

Do you really want the girls to come to Popeyes with a hot dog bun ?! Are you crazy?!

The fact that Popeyes agreed with this idea and actually went through a commercial is crazy.

We do not like to say it, but if you're really desperate for Popeyes chicken between two rolls, it may not be the worst idea to make your own close. For the beleagured Popeyes employees, however, it is not recommended to take a single roll and a Ziploc pickles in the local Popeyes. Take the chicken home to do the assembly.
