Sony has just announced that there will be a PS5 storefront on Wednesday September 16. The event is meant to focus on “some of the great games that are coming to PS5 at launch (and beyond!),” Although it’s safe to assume we will also find out the PS5 price and have a PS5 release date confirmed.
The PS5 showcase will appear in an official blog post in around 40 minutes, according to Sony, and will contain updates on upcoming PS5 games from a number of its worldwide studios and “world-class development partners”. That said, we should expect to see more of Spider-Man: Miles Morales, Ratchet, and Clank: Rift Apart, as well as some of the other titles we know exist, like the remake of Bluepoint̵
Microsoft announced the price and release date of the Xbox Series X last week, as well as the cheaper next-generation entry point for the Xbox Series S. That means all eyes are now on Sony in order to respond.
The PS5 and PS5 Digital Editions are slated for release this November, and we already have a pretty good idea of what to expect. We’ve rounded up a list of suspected PS5 launch games and even got some early information on PS5 pre-orders.
Now all we have to do is tune in live on Twitch or YouTube this Wednesday at 1 p.m. PDT / 9 p.m. BST / 10 p.m. CEST to see what’s next for PS5 and hopefully find out how much this thing will cost.
