Rainbow Six Siege may be coming to Xbox Game Pass

Another joke could suggest Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege

may be directed to Xbox Game Pass in the near future. Xbox Game Pass on Twitter posted a medieval-looking image with no caption, but the image itself seems like an incentive for an upcoming Rainbow Six Siege announcement as it features six rainbows and a siege weapon attacking a castle.

Ubisoft has already confirmed that Rainbow Six Siege is moving to the PS5 and Xbox Series X / S with cross-generational multiplayer, so the timing of this reveal could be good with the consoles just weeks away.

This step could also be another step if Rainbow Six Siege can be played for free, which according to game master Leroy Athanassoff the development team apparently wants at some point.

If Rainbow Six Siege makes it to Xbox Game Pass, Splinter Cell’s Sam Fisher will also be making a return to the Microsoft console, having recently been added as an Operator codenamed Zero.

Rainbow Six Siege was released in 2015 and has been supported and improved by a ton over the years. We reviewed the game again in 2018 and found that “Rainbow Six Siege has grown into a much deeper, competitive FPS that still rewards smart play as much as good aim.”
