In the past few weeks, the Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Ultra and Note 20, the Galaxy Z Fold 2, the Galaxy Z Flip 5G, the Galaxy Watch 3, some tablets, and more have been released – but the company isn’t finished with the events yet. There will be another virtual presentation from Samsung Unpacked on September 23 at 10 a.m. CET. That title is titled “Galaxy Unpacked for Every Fan,” which is a pretty obvious indication that it marks the official reveal of the rumored Galaxy S20 Fan Edition.
The last time the unannounced phone was found on Verizon’s website was Android police. Leaks and rumors suggest that some hardware specs of the standard S20 will be retained ̵
Verizon still has a rotating view of the S20 Fan Edition on its website in different colors: red, dark blue, pink and mint green. As is often the case with Samsung, the phone may come in different colors for different carriers and regions. Samsung’s official invitation shows the options dark blue and mint.
You may remember the “Fan Edition” branding from the time Samsung re-used the troubled Galaxy Note 7. It’s unclear why Samsung revived it after introducing the “Lite” versions of the Galaxy S10 and Note 10, but the company may not. I don’t want to frame the device as a watered down S20 when it retains so many of the core specs.
