Samsung first debuted in 2017 with 512GB of eUFS, but with sequential read and write speeds of 860 MB per second or 255 MB per second. This option doubles the sequential read speed to 2,100 MB per second and increases the write speed to 410 MB per second. Samsung also expects these speeds to help provide a seamless user experience for "future smartphones with extremely large, high-definition screens".
