Residents of elderly care facilities around the world have been heavily banned for months to prevent the spread of the coronavirus. This means that people like Robert Speker, an activity coordinator at the Sydmar Lodge care facility in England, had to get creative to entertain and uplift residents.
Speker’s most recent activity was a photo shoot that recreated classic album art with the residents of the Sydmar Lodge, which he shared on social media. For example, next to the cover of Adele 21 is Veras 93.

“I did the project to make them happy, and I think the families of the models enjoyed it, even grandchildren wrote about their grandparents, but Covid’s risk means that they will be in custody for a long time and I want to make it a good time, ”Speker told Jewish News.
Other residents posed as David Bowie, Bruce Springsteen, Blink 182’s nurse Enema of the state, and more.
The replicas contain some amazing details. Taylor Swifts 1989 Album is reinvented as 1922. The resident Sheila Solomons smashes her stick just as the bass player from The Clash smashes his microphone stand on the cover of London Calling. Keep looking, Sheila.
