The original iMac G3 from 1998 was very different from today’s elegant silver iMac models. The G3 was a rounded bladder with a clear colored body. It came with a notoriously uncomfortable mouse and was available in thirteen flavors. The candy-colored desktop helped pull Apple off the verge of bankruptcy, and was instrumental in introducing a new connection standard for the computer industry: USB.
22 months have passed since the G3 was released to the public. So we open the floor to those who have good or bad memories of the pioneering computer.
