Sony, Prophesee announces development of a stacked event-based vision sensor



One of the most important hardware components that can be used to determine how well a camera records images is its sensor. While companies' marketing departments typically focus on mega-pixel sensor mounting, there's more behind where innovations have been made that we think are more interesting than camera resolution.

Indeed Lately Both Sony and Prophesee (formerly known as Chronocam, a company in which Intel has invested) have announced that they are working together to develop a stacked event-based vision sensor.
